Nestled on a gentle hillside, on the slopes of Mount Erice and with the Egadi archipelago on the horizon, Baglio Sorìa is a perfect example of typical Sicilian architecture from the 16/17th century, which is extremely widespread in western Sicily.

he Baglio was the hub of the work activities and life of the rural community, it was the reference point for men and women who, from generation to generation, have shared and passed it down to the present day, preserving the authenticity of Sicily and the proud spirit of its inhabitants. The original building consisted of the manor house, warehouses, workshops for artisan work and some peasants’ dwellings.
Today, after a skillful restoration, respectful of the natural scenery of the Trapani countryside, Baglio Sorìa stands out as Firriato’s Luxury Wine Resort, nestled among the estate’s vineyards and currently consisting of 16 rooms, a restaurant, 2 wine bars, wine shop, tasting rooms, swimming pool and several living areas.

The Tastings offered at Baglio Sorìa are designed for all Winelovers, from novices to experts, and take place in special tasting rooms suited to appreciate every single sensory nuance of each wine and the perfect pairing with the culinary excellence of Chef Andrea Macca.
It is possible to choose from different types of Wine Experience, and for Food lovers it will also be possible to have exclusive Cooking Classes: real culinary workshops in which typical traditional Sicilian dishes will be prepared together with the Chef, for example, “Cous Cous alla Trapanese”, and then the meal will be consumed together in a setting of pure conviviality.

Our cuisine, from breakfast to dinner, is the fruit of a cultural identity that finds in the sea and the land of Sicily its main resources, and draws from Km 0 ingredients selected from the best local producers, in full respect of seasonality.

Among the most evocative in Sicily, the sunset over the Salt Pans of Marsala and Trapani is a truly breathtaking experience: unique colors draw the horizon like a postcard, creating a magical atmosphere and timeless memories.
Positioned on the hill overlooking Baglio’s vineyards and olive groves, the Sky Lounge offers an unmissable view of the city of Trapani and fully captures the splendor of the surrounding countryside. On the clearest days, the eye can catch a good part of the western coast of Sicily: from the Stagnone-with the island of Lunga and Mozia-to Marsala, to the Mount of Erice with its medieval village. At the center of this magnificent view are the Egadi Islands, with Favignana and Levanzo in the foreground and, in the background, the island of Marettimo.
